How To Access Data For Analysis

The data from a Quantics calculation is stored in a set of binary files that makes it difficult to access if one wants to use a language other than Fortran for analysis. The easiest way is to use programs available in the Quantics Analyse programs to print the data as ascii files. The key programs are described below. For further detais on how to use them, see the Analyse documentation.

Program Description
rdgrid Print the grid coordinates and, optionally, the DVR weights for the degrees of freedom.
rdacoeff Print the A-coefficients as a function of time. By default only coefficients above a given threshold ar eprinted, along with a full list of the mode indices. For further analysis, the option -full may be usful as it prints all the coefficients to full accuraccy, along with the (multi-mode) vector indices. rdspfs Print the SPFs for a single mode as a function of time. See the notes below for how the SPFs are stored.
